New site design, new articles

Whew! I've totally transformed my website, The Business of Art (Arts-Careers.com) with a new site design. That new design makes it vastly easier to add new articles as they occur to me.

So, I've written two new articles this morning. One is about teaching art, and the other adds more tips if--like me--you're converting a website to a WordPress-based content management system.

(If you want to know exactly what I'm using to redesign my websites, that info is at another article at The Business of Art, WordPress for Content Management. Everything that I'm using is free. In that article, I also share some of what I learned through trial-and-error, to make your site designing easier.)

If you're interested in this kind of information, or want to know when I write something new about the business side of being an artist, visit The Business of Art. At the lower right corner of the page, there's a way to subscribe to the newest articles through RSS, or you can have article updates sent to you in email, automatically.

And, if you'd like to use my articles to update your own website, you can do that too. It's free and very easy. Create your own widget at this link Spring Widgets: The Business of Art. You can customize it if you like, then cut-and-paste the widget to your website, and it updates itself with my newest articles, automatically.

As you can tell, I'm pretty excited about these changes. Eventually, all of my websites will be streamlined like this, and fully searchable.
