Art Manifested Art Events "Art Manifested" is a concept that emerged in June 2004, when teachers and students became fed up with overpriced arts events and ruthless politics. The name of the event comes from the Cheap Art Manifesto.
Our goal is to create four-day arts events with a total event fee of $300 or less--including all classes and activities, three catered meals a day, and sleeping accommodations. We want to place them in fun and beautiful locations--mostly vacation destinations--but at no-frills sites.
We have a few locations, and several top-notch teachers, who can make this a reality in early 2006.
Obviously, that's not soon enough for most of us. We're still looking for a great site for early in 2005. (Ideally, Florida in Feb, Mar, or April.) We'll post updates here, and at our Yahoo!Group.
