the personal diary and art journal of an artist... text mixed with art mixed with raw emotions

I'm reading the headlines in the world press. I'm not sure if it's good news that there is so little of consequence that Janet Jackson's breast remains newsworthy.

I'm looking at sewing ideas for gypsy-faerie clothing. DIY Goth has some fun ideas for starters.

I'm considering Cornell's art as something deep and meaningful and wonder if, like me, he worked intuitively (see yesterday's quote) rather than making everything symbolic. Is he somewhere in a parallel world, looking at the pithy re-interpretations of his art, and laughing...?

I'm reading about light pollution, and contemplating art with a "night sky" theme, after seeing this webpage of art, poetry and music.

And, I'm enjoying sometimes-obscure art with a mythological context, at ArtMagick.com.

But mostly today, I'm painting. And scanning. And doing some collage. I want to get more of my current journal online, but I also want to complete a bunch of art to put online--eBay and here--this weekend. And, I need to scan my "Decluttering Journal" for publication... that's a very high priority.

I may post more later, when I take a break. For now, this is a short entry, but you can cruise my past entries, linked below.

Wishing you rich and creative days filled with dazzling inspiration,
