Fabric Art
©2007 by aisling d'art
Since the mid-1970s, I've been an avid quiltmaker and fabric artist. In the 1980s, I was best known for my traditional quilts with a quirky twist, and my fabric art collages that mixed antique images with vintage and contemporary fabrics. In the 90s, my cloth dolls and figures--aka "wild art dolls"--soared. Today, I'm returning to my early roots in fabric art, working with quilts and wallhangings as well as cloth dolls & figures.
