Fruits - Japanese Street Fashions
©2007 by aisling d'art
Fruits... Japanese street fashions. They're surreal. They're yummy. They're inspiring if you're working with color, and especially if you're working with fabric or wearable art.
Fruit magazine (and related books) features amazing street fashions from Japan. I love the juicy colors, the over-the-top styling, and the quirky combination of tartiness and innocence.
Here's a current example, provided by JapaneseStreets.com. (I have no control over this image, so I'm not endorsing one particular fashion, just the concept in general.)
