Free Camtasia program

Have you wanted to use Camtasia but postponed buying it? Well, I'm not sure how long this will last, but--if you're on a pc*, not a Mac--you can download the full Camtasia 3 (the current version is 5, but version 3 works fine) from the great team at Techsmith.

This is a full version, not shareware. The Techsmith team hopes that you'll like version 3 so well, you'll want to upgrade... and they've made it extra tempting by offering version 5 at a deep discount. (One plus with version 5 is that it can output as an MP3 so that it's available on iPods, etc.)

To get your software, download the program at
http://download.techsmith.com/camtasiastudio/enu/312/camtasiaf.exe

Then, register (free) at http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia/pcpls.asp

Techsmith will email you the key that you'll use during installation, and your copy will be a full version of Camtasia 3.

... Thanks to Leonard Payne at The Sizzle Factory for mentioning it, and Rod Trent at myITforum.com for the specific links.

*System requirements include Windows 2000 or XP, and 40MB available on your hard drive.

Freebies - zine, posters, D*C 07 ATCs

Did you get your free issue of Astarte's Mega-Zine? It's a $9.95 value and it really is free... you don't have to buy anything. Learn more about this free, full-size art zine at my webpage with links.

Also, I've updated the dada page so that you can download my favorite posters from unamerican.com.

And, I recently appeared at Dragon*Con 2007--under another pen name--and taught several art-related workshops. You can download the ATCs that I created for that event, here.
