Glastonbury Tor - view from the top

There are no photos to do justice to the panoramic view from the top of Glastonbury Tor. It's futile to try to show it. This small picture just hints at the majesty and scope of the vista.

All I can do is recommend that you climb the 525-foot high Tor and see it for yourself. A warm spring day is ideal.

But, before you go, be sure to learn as much as you can about the Christian, Pagan, and Arthurian lore of Glastonbury and vicinity. They'll make your visit far richer.
